  Building Character...
        Generosity, sincerity, gratefulness, and responsibility
are just a few! Camp North Crest is proud to be part of
this exceptional program that stays with children
through adulthood.  This nationally licensed curriculum
uses brightly illustrated stories and projects based on
animals in nature to represent and teach important
character traits.

Movement Monday: a YMCA afternoon will include
fun and lively activities in the gym and may include pool
time  too!
Open Gym Tuesday: enjoy trampolines, balance
beams, rock wall, play system and everything our gym
has to offer during open gym time

YMCA pool.
Theater Thursday: fun theater games and skits

ters, museums, theaters, playgrounds and more!  *All
campers are expected to attend. Transportation and en-

AGE APPROPRIATE GROUPING
Children will be placed into groups according to age and
abilities. These groups will consist of 3-5(6) yr. olds, 6-8(9)
yr. olds and 9 yr. olds and up. Those children that are on
the border should go according to parent’s recommenda-
tion and current reading level. Again this year, each age
group will have a character focused TEAM THEME as well.
The 3-5 year olds will be the “Penguins” and will work on
sticking together like a team. The 6-8 yr. olds will be the
“Dolphins” and will concentrate on helping out others in
need. The 9+ group will be the “Giraffes” and will focus on
always going above and beyond! Each camper will be wel-
comed with a description of their animal and a description
of the responsibility that comes with being a member of
their T.E.A.M. Together Everyone Accomplishes More.
